SESSUN
The creator, Emma François, a former anthropology student from Montpellier, France, discovered per passion for design and the intricacies of specialized production during her travels in South America. She started the brand in 1996 and was quickly noticed in the industry by winning the Young Designer Prize by the Mediterranean Fashion Institute. The line has been on the rise ever since, and sales have expanded around the world. Sessùn takes great pride in being an artistic endeavor and often collaborates with other creators to produce intriguing, emotional pieces which allow the brand to continue to reinvent itself season after season. Ethical practices of production are also very important and the collections often consist of upcycled materials from cotton to linen to viscose. These creative designs paired with their practical and sophisticated craftsmanship, deliver a relaxed, feminine aesthetic to their customers.
